What audio formats are supported?
FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, DSD (DSF/DFF), MP3, AAC, OGG Vorbis, Opus, WMA, APE, WavPack, Musepack, and CUE sheets.
Can I use it with a NAS?
Yes. Point Orange at any mounted network volume. The app uses security-scoped bookmarks to remember your folder permissions across launches.
Does the app phone home or collect analytics?
No. Zero telemetry, zero analytics, zero accounts. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What are the system requirements?
macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later on Apple Silicon.
How do I enable Last.fm scrobbling?
Go to Settings → Playback → Last.fm, enter your credentials, and click Connect. Scrobbling starts automatically.
Is the app really free?
Yes. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads. Just music.
